The yard mountain is a former castle mountain in bath Aibling. It forms the northwest conclusion of an arc-shaped (Klafferer), into which the city center of bath Aibling schmiegt itself.

History

The yard mountain was probably already in the celtic the seat of an attachment plant (Oppidum), which was taken over later by the Romans. In the year 470 there a yard of the Agilolfinger originated in, in 8. Century to a king yard (Pfalz, Palatium) was developed the Karolinger. In the following centuries the yard mountain was seat of the Vogtei Aibling. 1293 were furnished at the yard mountain a maintaining court, until 1972 were here an independent district court.
