The Thiemsburg was a messuage and a former forestry house in the Langensalzaer city forest in the national park Hainich. First mentions decrease/go back to the year 1143. At that time the abbott Thiemo acquired the forest with the Mars castle of Heinrich, the son Erchenberts of Wida. Many years long the forestry house was publicly accessible. Today is there one of the numerous round moving ways in the national park Hainich. 200 meters of the Thiemsburg is a crown of tree path, which was opened on 27 August 2005. The forestry house Thiemsburg was torn off at the 4.Januar 2006, in order to yield a new building.
