The Theklakapelle is a Nebenkirche of the city parish church pc. Martin in land hat. Knight William of Fraunhofen, the yard master of the Bavarian duke Heinrich that realms, let the chapel establish 1426 above the southern old part of town at the ascent to the yard mountain.

It was built for the holy virgin Maria first in the style of the gothic and geweiht under the name Maria oh. Between 1754 and 1759 it was baroque transformed under the line of the Landshuter of sculptor Christian Jorhan.

During the re-equipment the original gothical Marienfigur was set into the center of the high altar created again by Jorhan. You to the side stand for two wood figures, which probably show the holy Johannes EH gelist and the holy Thekla.

The cover of the nave is painted decorative and refers thematically to the life of the holy Thekla. A motive shows its baptism, a further cross-examines before the judge, after it had refused the marriage with heaths.
