The Steinbach forest with Rauenzell accommodates the oldest former Wallfahrt of the Eichst¤tt.
History
- 1353 event for the emergence of the Wallfahrt. A small building of a barrier travel chapel developed. Further buildings followed over the time and the Wallfahrt flowered ever more up. Until in the year 1803 the secularization in Bavaria introduction held. After some resistance the Wallfahrstkirche suffered a fate, which divides her with many church buildings in this time.
