The romantic road is one of the most well-known and most popular holidays roads in Germany. It begins at the Main, leads from the west of Franconia to the governmental district Swabia, across the governmental district Upper Bavaria into the German alps and extends over 420 km von until feet.

Important stopovers in historical regard or because of the landschaftlichen attraction are peppering castle, Rothenburg whether that deaf ones, Augsburg and Landsberg at the Lech.
