The scientific argument with the phenomenon of the tourism is relatively young. Nevertheless it brought within a short time a whole row out specialized technical disciplines, to whose most important about tourism sociology, - psychology, - economics and - belong to history. The tourism science is for its part already the subject of historical view and close related to leisure sociology.

- imex 2006 for the fourth time on the Frankfurt fair in Frankfurt/Main, world-wide determining for Mice industry (30.5. - 1,6. 2006) 3,000 issuing enterprises from 140 countries, national and international tourism offices, groups of hotels, airlines, DMCs, Dienstleister, branch federations and more. Over 3.000 Hosted Buyers from more than 50 countries formed a portion to that altogether for 7,000 visitors (2005). Above all congress meetings in hotels are obtained, where Germany leads in Europe. A further emphasis are incentive journeys. Numerous ones "“hosted more buyer"”, i.e. travel expenses are completely paid of the organizer. (locally)
