The pointing church is a catholic pilgrimage church with freesings in Upper Bavaria. It lies in the north of freesings at the edge of forest at the federal highway 301 toward Zolling.

History

Since the year 1748 a painting in a small wood chapel, which admires image of the gegeisselten Heilands of the pointing church with Steingaden, became. A fast growing Wallfahrt developed. 1764 took place then a new building of a church with five altars, in 19. Century was extended again. The Kuraten and Mesnerhaus were cultivated. From 1947 to 1955 the catholic medal priest and worked against the LV regime Ildefons Maria Dietz at the pilgrimage church.
