The Pinakothek of the modern trend at the cash road in the resident of Munich urban district 3 max suburb accommodates four from each other independent museums, which lead the most diverse ranges of the art in a world-wide singular constellation transnational before eyes under its roof: the collection modern trend art (those for its part a part of the Bavarian state painting collections is), the new collection (the national museum for applied art), the museum of architecture DO Munich as well as the national graphic collection. The Pinakothek of the modern trend forms the art area Munich for the museum fire refuge, the antique collections, the Glyptothek with the old person and the new Pinakothek, and the urban gallery in the Lenbachhaus.

The museum building
