Phetine designates a castle plant and a settlement on and/or with the Landsberger lock mountain.
The first documentary mention of the settlement Phetine happened in the year 1135, the settlement possessed the market right of the monastery Sandau. In the year 1160 by the Bavarian national gentleman Heinrich a castle was built for the lion, which carried the names Landespurch or Landesperch later. The castle serves the border of the welfischen duchy Bavaria for to the protection for the high pin Augsburg. Further functions of the castle plant was the safety device of an important action race over the Lech as well as the function of a Vogtburg of the monastery Wessobrunn.
