The only Pfefferminzmuseum Germany is in the municipality Eichenau with Munich. It shows history and technology of the Pfefferminzanbaus in the municipality on the basis from texts, photos and historical devices. In addition original Eichenauer Pfefferminztee can be tried.

Eichenau developed after the First World War into the 50's 20. Century inside to the most important Pfefferminzanbaugebiet Germany, whereby above all the English Mitcham Minze was produced. Today peppermint is only cultivated there on a small surface for the purpose of demonstration particularly for the museum.

The Pfefferminzmuseum was created in the year 1986 by the group of voters independent. Since 1992 it is carried by the promotion association Pfefferminzmuseum Eichenau registered association. Unfortunately it, since it is operated on honorary basis, is relatively small and only Sundays opened.
