The Pfanzeltplatz is the center of the former village Perl oh, which is today part residents of Munich of the quarter Ramersdorf Perlach.

It lies in the Unterdorf and is designated after Martin Pfanzelt (* 25 April 1825 "† 24 August 1912), which of 1869 - 1912 Perlacher ministers was (in addition kgl. geistl. Advice, Dekan, district school inspector and honour citizen of the municipality Perl oh).
