Park Fiction (Fiction such as fiction in Science Fiction) was an artistic and socio-political project in Hamburg end of the 90's. The adjacents resident of the area around the Pinnasberg in pc. Pauli demanded a park for its quarter instead of an office building planned by the city. They made plans for this park, and artists used their media power and abilities, in order to lend to the project public. After tough struggle and numerous meetings in Hamburg, in particular however after park Fiction was introduced 2002 on the Documenta11 in Kassel, could the park is converted and today no more utopia is, but reality.

History

Citizens of pc. Pauli (a social focus) placed this demand since always 1994 the city Hamburg, after this had wanted to cultivate one of the few green areas at the Elbufer in the city with office buildings.
