Pandan Iceland is 20 hectars a large island in the Philippines. It is proven since 1994 as protected area, 2 km before the coast of the freight port Sablayan. The drop-shaped island was designated after here the frequently occurring Pandan palm. From it there are some subspecies, whereby the fruits of the Pandan are used among other things amaryllifolius in beverage and perfume industry and also favour during the flight foxes to find. Therefore also the malayische name comes: Pandan ~ smell, smell.
Admits is the island (with accommodations in Bambusbungalows) for its beautiful sand beach and to a circulating close reef, which is popular with Schnorchlern and divers. They can start also the world-well-known Apo reef from here from. Limited accommodations in the middle category are present. (See Related links.)
