The Pallottinerkirche pc. Johannes of the is a modern building of churches in the northern city of freesings (Upper Bavaria). It was built in the years 1928 to 1930 together with an elongated mission seminar after plans of the architect January Hubert pin and. Pin and created one of the most important buildings of the church expressionism in old Bavaria with the complex.

History

The community of the Pallottiner came after 1919 freesings. First seminar building was the former yard brewing house on the cathedral mountain.

End of the 1920er years decided the community, encouraged by the director of the Klerikalseminars Johannes shower and the Freisinger mayors Stefan Bierner, to the new building on the military mountain at the northern outskirts of a town. The building complex was geweiht on 14 September 1930 by Munich archbishop the cardinal Faulhaber. First rector of the house became Pater Albert Eise.

1939 were seized the entire building. On the area a teacher education place was furnished, in the later war years a military hospital. The church served the neighbouring Vimykaserne as garrison church.

After end of the Second World War Michael and the Munich bishop Johannes animated the community life again. In that seminar building developed a boarding school, which existed until 1988 and freesings last also as boy seminar of the Munich and served.

Today an education and a therapy center are accommodated in the Pallotti house.
