The motorbuses AG reading valley (AAGL) is a Swiss bus enterprise in the canton Basel country with seat in reading valley.

History (milestones)

1905 the establishment of the automobile company Liestal Reigoldswil AG and start-up first takes place licensed Buslinie of Switzerland between reading valley and Reigoldswil. 1956 the opening of the wire ropeway built by the AAGL takes place from Reigoldswil on the water traps; the only mountain railway in northwest Switzerland (the course is given away 1994 to an independent donation),1975/finally 1976 the start-up of the regional traffic takes place in reading valley (and dye) and Rheinfelden1986 takes place the entry to the tariff group northwest Switzerland (initial member).

Public traffic

General information

The AAGL operates some transregionale lines. Besides it places public traffic in and around reading valley and Rheinfelden reliably (in Rheinfelden as bus enterprises Rheinfelden BBR). In the regional centers reading valley and Rheinfelden transfers it the majority of the public suburban traffic, supplemental by the forest castle hereditary ancestor and the post office cars. The linear network amounts to at present in 10 lines 112,7 km.

Timetable

The AAGL offers the half hour clock on on its lines (hour clock however in the evening, on Sunday and entirely on the lines 71 and 84). To rush hours the clock is further consolidated.
