The mining industry and industrial museum East Bavaria in Theuern (municipality is a supraregional meaning museum, which investigates and documents the mining industry and the industry of the entire eastBavarian area.

The Upper Palatinate is since more jeher a center the iron ore promotion and was long location of ironworks, like the max hut in Sulzbach Rosenberg, as well as of pits, e.g. to in 20. Century in Auerbach.

The museum was furnished 1978 in a former hammer gentleman lock. Additionally hammer and pits were for the purpose of demonstration put on.
