The Mauri kiosk was sketched by the architect Carl von Diebitsch and originally shown on that Paris world exhibition from 1867 as official contribution of Prussia.
For the park plants of the lock Linderhof it was available acquired on behalf of Ludwig II. (Bavaria) by bankruptcies the railway king Bethel Henry Strousberg, which could be set up the kiosk after the world exhibition in the park of its property Sbirow.
