The mansion Flora is a monument-protected urban villa in Munich urban district the Sendling Westpark. The simple building of hipped roofs was established first to 1850 as post office station of the house Thurn and taxi. 1874 converted it the architect Josef wolf in the style conventional Meier to a house.

The mansion was at a dirt road far before the gates of Munich. Before the First World War it was attached only briefly with the building of the Hans branch race to Munich road systems.

1910 opened a restaurant and the building in the mansion received its current names. The restaurant, the associated beer garden and the cultivated skittle-alley developed fast to a popular trip goal the Munich citizens. Into the 1930er years was the mansion regular meeting place of the Munich SPD. 1937 was expropriated the owners of the restaurant therefore and the mansion came into the possession of the city Munich.

After end of the Second World War a building yard and later a hostel were accommodated in the building.
