The Renaissance lock Wiesenthau is because of the northeast edge of the municipality of the same name at the foot of the Walberla in the district Forchheim, governmental district Upper Franconia.

History

The place is called documentary for the first time 1062 in connection with the king yard in Forchheim. The Mr. von Wiesenthau are documentary since 1128 provable as Bamberger Ministeriale.
