Lichtenberg is a town in the district yard of the Bavarian governmental district Upper Franconia. The city borders directly on the ruin of the castle Lichtenberg. Together with municipality Issigau forms the central administrative body Lichtenberg, which has its seat in Lichtenberg for Lichtenberg.

History
