The shipping company Leonhardt & Blumberg was created 1903 by the partners Adolf Leonhardt and Arthur Blumberg in Hamburg.

After the death of Arthur Blumberg in the year 1922 the shipping company by the family Leonhardt one resumed and one leads today in the third generation by franc Leonhardt.

In these more than 100 years Leonhardt & Blumberg operated 150 ships, which in the past essentially and Massengutschiffe were.

At the fleet of the shipping company it acts predominantly beside cooling ships around modern container ships with the capacity between 1.000 TEU and 4,500 TEU. These ships are busy under time freight contracts with different line shipping companies in world-wide traffic.

All functions of the shipping business such as management, Befrachtung, technology and equipment, sea-personnel, insurance, financing and affairs of new building are noticed central in the company-owned office building at the Elbufer in Hamburg.
