History

The Wallfahrt, the only one of their kind in the diocese was originally based on a medieval legend around an alleged Hostienfrevel. Starting from 1703 took over the support of the Wallfahrt. The monastery was created by Pater Pius writers from the Franziskanerkloster Schilling prince and the Thuringian Rekollectenprovinz of the medal. today's condition

2005 were accomplished by the working group Tourismuspastoral of the Eichst¤tt for the first time again a Wallfahrt in form of a sea-barrier travel, since the old footpath was flooded by the large bromine brook lake.
