The is a pilgrimage church in the area of the city Schesslitz in the district Bamberg. He was mentioned documentary for the first time 1274 as castle with a chapel in honours of the holy Pankratius. 1430 were destroyed the chapel by the Hussiten. Prince bishop Anton von Rotenhan let a larger chapel construct far north. A second time was destroyed the in the farmer war 1525. Prince bishop Johann Gottfried of Aschhausen gave it his current after-gothical shape by building master Lazaro Agostino.
