The Dreifaltigkeitskirche Kappl on that about 600 meters high glass mountain with forest-eaten ranks among the strangest church creations of Germany. In their the Dreifaltigkeit is masterfully represented as architecture symbol. In all construction units the number three dominates with this place of worship. In the external's building the thought of the three-agreement in the three towers and the three roof riders with bulb hoods is symbol light.
Also in the interior equipment the thought of the goes into action. Three Konchen, which put around a meant equilateral triangle, form the interior. Over that three times three altars three hemispheres curve and in the three corners of the sketch stand for three columns. The three cover paintings held in a vague pseudobaroque style were created by the painter Oskar Martin in the years 1934-1940, after the original baroque Fresken had been destroyed by a fire in the year 1880.
The building master of this original pilgrimage church was and later in forest-eaten the resident yard architect and master of building of yards George Dientzenhofer originating from the Alpine foreland.
In the year 1685 the building begun of the Kappl had taken four years. The inauguration of the church could not experience George Dientzenhofer any longer.
