As idyllische trip route the dead head restraint race of May chamber at the edge of the lowlandses of the Upper Rhine in northwest direction leads winding up in the forest, past at the summits of Kalmit (673 m) and sheep head (617 m) as well as at the dead head hut, and ends in the valley of the Speyerbachs with the Weiler width stone. The altitude changes from scarcely 150 m with May chamber over 650 m to the Kalmit to approximately 200 m with width stone.
A part of the dead head restraint race is used occasionally for mountain groping with Radrennen and for the Kalmit Berglauf, which belongs to the mountain run series.
