The catholic Nebenkirche to our love woman in Herrieden probably stands on the foundations of one of emperor Karl the large one between 768 and 814 for crypt arranged.

On the right side altar on the Epistelseite represented in the Gesprenge of the Auferstandene, surrounded by Maria by Egypt and Margareta von Cortona. The main picture shows Maria von Magdala with an opened up book in the hands. This altar shows clearly, which meaning and penalty in the welfare happening represent regret.

On the left side altar on the gospel side is in the Gesprenge Josef as a patron with bowl, pigeons and staff; two Psalmisten surround it. The nave possesses a carved, earlybaroque timber ceiling of 1705 with cover paintings. It shows baroque stucco ornamentations in unique and original way as Schnitzerei. It is rectangular, approximately fitted with springs, possesses as framings carved leaves and fruit rings on egg staff borders. The fields decorate shells, Akanthusranken as well as and Four Tondi represent sacrificing Mariens, Verkndigung, the Darbringung Jesu in the temple and afflicting. According to pin chronicle of 1705 probably this timber ceiling was completed on the eager operation of the Kanonikers Michael Kirchbauer - Provisor of this chapel -.
