Cayo Largo Del Sur, also simply Cayo Largo (splinter long island), is at 25 km length and 3 km broad the second largest island of the Cuban Canarreos archipelago in the Caribbean sea

The largest island archipelago is the Isla de la Juventud. Christopher Columbus is to have visited the island on its second journey 1494, just like Sir Francis Drake on its Weltumsegelung. Piraten served it as hiding place and island exists the limestone of millions years old remnants of Korallen. The corral reefs developing still are the Hauptattration for the controlling dipping tourism. Further, white sand beaches lure crystal-clear water and game animals tourists on Cayo Largo, which can be observed.
