The lock travel castle with (in close proximity to Ulm in Swabia) at the Danube was the master seat of Berthold I. of travel castle, the count von Geisenfeld. After the reconstruction travel castle was left 1763 at baron von Eyb. The last descendant of of Eyb died to 21. March 1851. Maximilian Alexander of Riedheim bought on 17 June 1852 castle travel castle. After the enforced sale 1920 by political unrests acquired to 6. March 1966 "“international Institut for scientific co-operation registered association"” the lock.
