The ruin of the castle envy stone is in the locality envy stone in Frankish Switzerland. The place belonged to the city Hollfeld in the district Bayreuth-existing are today only still remainders of the surrounding walls as well as those about 10 meters high ruin of a dreigeschossigen residential building.

History

The plant would be allowed to do 15 in the last quarter. Century built by the Mr. von Aufsess its. 1488 are mentioned for the first time it in a document of the Christoph by Aufsess.

In the farmer war the castle is completely destroyed 1525. Again constructed it is attacked and devastated in the war during occupation by the bishop von Bamberg by the Hollfeldern. 1652/1653 are only mentioned the castle as ruin.
