The Burgenkundliche didactic exhibition of the district of hate mountains is an about 40 kilometer long moving and/or round moving way in the nature park of hate mountains (Lower Franconia). The round way leads to altogether eight castles, castle ruins and castle stables, which are described by diagrams.

The didactic exhibition

In the hate mountains the territories of the two large Frankish dioceses Bamberg and peppering castle touched themselves. Both high pins tried to secure their spheres of influence by numerous castles and fastened cities. Particularly the of bishops did not frighten here also before wrong accusations back, in order to bring the castles and of their religious competitors under control. Below in the valley the castle stable dry yard is because of the edge of a Weilers. The designation castle stable is however misleading, here lay here to in 19. Century a bricked military memory on a small island in the Weiher. This memory belonged to an easily fastened yard, on which a branch of the Mr. von Lichtenstein sat. Today the tower-like building of memory disappeared completely, that building however by a design Ludwig of judge well documented.

Briefly before Ebern, over the local part Eyrichshof, lies the rock castle Rotenhan in the forest. Of the Esoterik afflicted castle ruin is considered as one of the few genuine rock castles Bayerns.
