The Bodensee cycle track is approximately 260 km long wheel remote way along Bodensee. As region for a wheel journey it is also over 220.000 Radler per year the beliebtete cycle track of Europe. A typical orbiting takes 6-8 days. Many cyclists come in addition, to the Bodensee and undertake there daily trips.

Traffic route

The Bodensee cycle track is connected in many places with the transportation network of the respective courses. For long-distance traffic are depending upon origin in special Friedrichshafen, Lindau, Bregenz, St Magrethen, Rorschach, novel horn, Konstanz, Radolfzell and something off singing interesting starting points.

In the suburban traffic the Bodensee cycle track to a large extent close of the railroad lines runs. On the lake offer the ships of the white fleet (Bodensee) to bicycle taking along.

The cycle track can be reached so on the one hand very well from all directions, on the other hand one very good possibilities exist to combine the cycle track with other means of transport.

Characteristics

The Bodensee cycle track leads mostly by only easily hilly or completely flat country which can be mastered easily for cyclists. To large parts it runs auto-free or reciprocal cycle tracks which are on Radwegen.Er in the clockwise direction with because of the road then the road between cycle track and lake does not lie traveled there predominantly.
