The 865 m high Blessberg is in the slate mountains (Thuringia Germany).
The mountain is appropriate for about 7 km in the district Hildburghausen between Sachsenbrunn and Steinheid, northeast from Eisfeld.
On the Blessberg the German Telekom AG operates the transmitting tower "Sonneberg Blessberg" for UKW, radio relay link and TV. As radio tower a free standing reinforced concrete tower is used.
