The bath road Taunus is a holidays and a recovery road. It begins in bath Ems (Rhineland-Palatinate) in the Lahn valley, runs in southeast direction by the places Dausenau and Nassau (Lahn). There it leaves the Lahn valley and leads across Singhofen into the Taunus. There it crosses the localities Pohl, wood living A.D. Haide, bath Schwalbach, queue bath and drops with Eltville in the Rhine Valley and ends after 56 km in Wiesbaden (Hessen).

The road runs parallel in parts to the old Roman border barrier Limes. It essentially concerns with the bath road B 260.

The today's route follows to a large extent an old Roman road, which interconnected the castellets Kemel, wood living, Marienfels and bath Ems. Witnesses Roman past still are in form of the castellet when wood living A.D. Haide and a clearly visible and honorary maintained process of the Limes in the municipality Pohl (Nassau).
