History

In the center 19. Century the family of arene mountain an extensive pit field possession in the today's city of Bottrop.

Deactivation

Today's condition

After release of the arene mountain pits no conveyor plants are more recognizable. Some monument-worthy auxiliary buildings in the style of the time around 1910 are received. On the bill area Gewerbeansiedlungen.Die coal liquefaction plant are 1981 of the Ruhr coal AG as "“coal oil plant Bottrop"” again experimentally in enterprise were taken. It was until 1992 in enterprise.
