Arachova (gr.: is a city in central Greece; it is because of the southern slope of the mountain Parnassos in the area of Viotia on a height of 900 to 1000 meters. Arachova is appropriate for about 160 km northwest from Athens and 12 km before the historical Delphi. In Arachova 4,158 humans (census 2001) live.

Arachova is a routistic coined/shaped city because of the proximity to Delphi, but she developed in the last decades by the building of ski centers in Parnassos to one most modern and largest ski places of the Greece.

The traditions and popular activities are further very much maintained and celebrated by the inhabitants. High point is the traditional celebration for the name of the holy Georgios, the city patron, who takes place mostly immediately after orthodox Easter and takes three days. Traditional dances, sporty meetings, the rereviving of the fight of Arachova against the Turks, as well as meals and drinking for all guests belong to.

Typical products of the place are olives, Formaella (a traditional kind of cheese, which gives it only in Arachova), Zipouro (grape/cluster liquor).
